Who is Mr. Bray?

Bio: Jesse Bray

🗣️ My name is Jesse Bray. I'm an animator and educator by trade. I started Mr. Bray (Studios/Labs LLC) in 2011 as a freelance business that eventually became my bread and butter and by the grace of God has sustained my family and me all along the way. During my undergrad my professor, Marilyn Zornado gave me the nickname “Mr. Bray” inspired by the classic animation studio Bray Studios (no direct relation), and the nickname stuck.

🏫 I have a Master of Education Specializing in Instructional Leadership and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Media Arts + Animation. I am currently pursuing my Ed.D. in Leadership and Higher Education at St. Edward’s University after transferring from NCU, halfway through completing a Ph.D. in General Psychology. My background in animation and educational psychology allows me a unique lens for visual solutions and storytelling. I can not only tell you why a design that you feel connect but as well as break down the science of what is happening when you experience this connection.

🔨 My clients have ranged from brands (e.g., Nike, Intel, InsightSoftware, Hallmark, Virgin Media, WildBrain, Mars, Amazon, Segment) and everything in between (Animatron, Tito's Vodka, Pears USA, Canada Media Fund).
