Breakdown of the animation process.
Animation involves three phases: I. Pre-Production II. Production III. Post-Production
This timeline varies from the length and scope of project.
Pre-Production
Idea → Script → Storyboards
PHASE ONE: Develop your idea into a story, turn it into a script, and translate it into storyboards. Once the script and storyboards are approved, we create a shot bible then move to the production phase.
Production
Audio → Animatic → Animation
PHASE TWO: begins with narration recordings or audio timing in tandem with the approved storyboards to create an animatic. Once the audio is locked and the animatic approved, the production art and animation can begin.
Post-Production
Music → Editing → Rendering
PHASE THREE: begins as the animation is completed and the remaining elements such as music, sfx and final edits are done. Once approved the animation is rendered out as a completed film.
